Verticle lines in my "new" plasma?

There are 7 verticle lines in my brand new plasma tv. It doesn't matter if the cable is on or the 360 is on they are always there.

It cannot be a fault with the LCD if it is a Plasma. This is more likely to be a problem with the shift registers. If it is new then take it back, its not a repairable fault.
