my transit wont start?( 2000 my 350 lwb 120ps)?

my ford transit broke down recently and was towed to a local garage, were they said the flywheel had broken up.They replaced the flywheel, clutch, starter motor but it still has the same problem the starter will not turn the engine it just locks up.The engine can be turned over by hand and also the flywheel can be turned but as soon as the starter is refitted it locks the engine??? The starter works fine when bench tested.

done
could be the wrong size of flywheel, teeth of the starter not lining up which would make it lock up
