How can i fix my telly?

My telly a Bush make won't work i can switch it on and the sound is perfect and i can change the channels but the screen stays black with a very thin line accross the screen. What can the problem be?

Line output transformer is the most likely fault. Very high voltages here, if you dont know what you are doing, stay safe and get an engineer. I would suggest that with the very cheap CRT tvs around, it would probably be cheaper to buy a new tv than to have yours repaired.
