My Kenmore whispertone model 20212003 won't work?

All of a sudden, the vacuum stopped working. It was working fine but then went completely dead. I trtied resetting it with the overload protection button but it still is dead.

Is the problem in the powerhead or in the main unit? If it's in the powerhead...you may have cooked a belt.
