As soon as I got to my scooter, I noticed a leak from underneath - checked again when I got to my destination & put the bike off. Undoubtedly it is a petrol leak - actually petrol is still leaking now 2 hours since my return home. What can the problem be please/what is the most likely problem ? Thanks for your reply Carol- problem has since been fixed.
Now I seem to have another problem however:
The Oil Indicator Light flicks on when in motion, although the bike is full of oil. I trust this is an electrical fault.
Any more info from your end is appreciated.

Hi,

It could be a split fuel pipe (common fault), but petrol should not run out with out the engine running as they are fitted a vacuum fuel cut off. It could be that the float needle is not seating on its seat in the carb & its flooding & the fuel is coming out the overflow, you will need to remove the carb & clean it for this.
