How can I fix my Sansui TVS273 27"?

The TV is only a month or so old an I haven't used it much, it probably has 20-25 hours of actual use. I recently moved and it was sitting on my bed and it rolled off the bed and landed on the carpet floor upside down. When I plugged it in after this it just made a whining/squeeling noise and wouldn't turn on. I left it plugged in for awhile just to see if the noise would stop, but after 20 or so minutes with the noise persisitng I just unplugged it and threw it in the closet

the less-than-honest solution - quick, file a warranty claim. or just take it out of your closet and take to a recycling center, and buy a new one for $179.
