i have an acer 2200 travelmate laptop and i am unable to run the laptop directly from the mains power supply, i can charge the battery up with a bit of fiddling with the cable when laptop not in use, but unable to do both when laptop is being used, (do i need a new power cable supply).

iv got same prob my comp just shuts down when on power iv bought new battery no diff
