how can I fix my bissell proheat pro-tech 7920 series?

I have had this model for 3-4 years and used it today for the 2nd time. The machine will not squirt water and shampoo, and the flow indicator does not spin. Do you have any suggestions as I have followed the instructions in the booklet with fault findings?

The roller works when it's upright and stop when you relaese it. It's working in reverse. I have a pro heat model #7901. What can I do to fix it?

We had to completely disassemble. Take the two huge bolts out of the handle (they screw into the accessory rack which needs to be removed as well). Then unscrew the back and you'll find your heater inside.

Hope that was enough info. Kinda hard to describe. Basically unscrew everything from where the handle connects to the storage rack and then you will be able to see how to get the back off to get at the heater.

I have this same model, used it all the time and developed same problem. belts are ok, unit sucks ok, just no water, indicator does not spin. From what I have read, I think it is the heater block is clogged not allowing water to flow through it. I took the handle apart but couldnt get to the heater block. anyone have any advice on taking the handle apart? I might just bypass the heater.
