My '98 Megan coupe has started knocking at any speed on any road surface. Sounded like the exhaust was loose but a brand new one has been fitted and its still there. Any ideas out there??

ok this is a bit late to tell you but may help others,

on the rear end of your exhast please check the bend just before the rear box i have just fitted new one and this same problam has happend to me the exhast was not following the heat sheild line properly and was bannging this puzzled me for days make sure the exhaust join was pushed in fully

please have your shock absorbers checked and check all shock absorber bolts.
