Took the battery out of my Volvo 440 ('94). When I put it back in the alarm goes off and I can't stop it except by disconnecting the battery. There is no power getting to the starter motor although all other electrics work. Any ideas on how to get it working or to remove it altogether?

I have a Rav 4 and the key fob suddenly stopped working. On changing the battery I now know the fob is functioning as the light comes on when buttons are pressed but it is still not unlocking my car doors or the key won't start the engine. Is this a problem with the immobilizer? How do I get this fixed?

Hello hope someone can help! I have a clio 1.2 grande, 3 door, x reg clio. The engine will not start due to the immboliser. I was told by Renault, that if water had leaked through the aerial then I would need new transponder. I have taken the roof light beneath the aerial out and there is just a wire with a small clip, that conects to the light. I don't know what a transponder looks like or where it is in mycar? Is there anything we can try before i take it to a dealer? thanks!
