i need to remove my ignition barrel how would i do this

Take the plastic trim off around the steering column, normal some torx 20 screws from underneath

There might be a small cross head screw securing the ignition barrel to the column, if there is remove it.

Unplug the connector plugs from the barrel, I think from memory there's 3, grey, brown & black.

Now look at the end of the barrel, you should see 5 small arrows, 4 of these have small letters next to them, you want the one that hasn't got a letter next to it, insert the key & turn it until it lines up with that arrow, now you can push the locking clip that sits in the slot down with a screwdriver & the barrel will then just slide out.

If the transponder aerial around the barrel is in the way just unplug it & remove it while your working.
