I have a 6 month old Hoover Empower vacum cleaner that does not seem to have as much suction power lately. It is bagless, so that is not the problem.I have cleaned the filter and hose. Could it need a new belt?

you will have a blockage somewhere, with kids i always get blockages take it to bits as much as you can and check every part of it, i doubt it will be the belt.
