RE: Hotpoint Aquarius WM63 not draining (Hi Paul!)?

Hi Paul
Thanks for a quick reply to my earlier question. With the pump in place and connected separately to the mains, I have actually sat thro a rinse cycle switching the pump on & off manually as required - it seems to operate fine then. However doing it this way the m/c would not refill until the final rinse before going in to the spin cycle. At one point it sat doing nothing until I physically moved it on thro the program. When doing it this way the pump works fine everytime.
It would appear that voltage is not reaching the pump when it should - can't get a voltage reading during the rinse cycle - but the leads between PCB & pump check out ok for continuity. This is what made me think that maybe the PCB or controller/timer is stuffed! Whaddya reckon - still think its worth buying another pump??

Hi der, a new pump is only bout £10. I thing its worth trying coz that fault on a PCB is very, very rare; and those pumps are very tempremental
