ruined motor?

i have a 2000 Freelander, diesel. It was perfectly maintained with all required maintenance. At 68,000 km it died. I am in Africa, Rwanda where there is a dealer but cant get any real help about uying a recondtioned motor or compalining direct to landrover as they have no contacts for the office. WHAT TO DO?
