My panasonic television keeps turning itself off?

My panasonic 28" quintrix pro-logic (8 years old)keeps turning itself off and goes into standby mode. its been doing this for months.From yesterday it won't even come on now,but immediately turns itself off.

Very common is the frame output IC failing.
These often become dry jointed initially and activate the protection circuit, sending tv into standby.
