I have no start button/no icons showing on bottom taskbar. Running Pentium 3 Win xp...I know there's a way to fix but can't remember...

First press the windows key on your keyboard, if that works then you just need to drag the menu back into existence. If it doesn't work then explorer has probably closed.

Try;

ctrl-alt-delete
task manager
applications
new task
type - explorer
