my fuel injection light is on in my Fiat ducato 2.8jtd,?

The diagnostic machine says that there is a fault between ecu and 2nd fan? But the 2nd fan works if you earth it.
They have changed ecu, and checked all wiring, cannot find fault. Can anyone help as the fuel injection light is still on.
