Similar Problem, Cleaned the filter , check hose, checked brush turning freely, still dead. at one time, there was a spark and a tiny bit of smoke smelling of something burning near the place where the power cord goes inside. any clues ?

Hi Shirley
On the 350 there's a thermal cut-out which covers over-heating (possibly due to blocked filters or over-filled jug). This should be automatically reset after approximately 30 minutes.

clean filters, check drive belt and check hose for blockages

Mine has just died - exactly the same, good fuse etc

came back on 20 mins later so maybe there is a thermal cut out if it overheats due to clogged filters

One suggestion is to try changing the filter.
