My avg anti virus has a virus in the virus vault that came from the system restore,should I delete it or leave it in the vault.

Anything in the Virus Vault can generally be deleted without any problems. Espically if its from system restore.

Once youve done this i would deactive system restore. .. reboot and reactive. That will flush it out and clear all files. Better safe than Sorry as its a common place for virus's to hide
