I have a Philips 28PW6305/05 both scart sockets seem not to be working with either sky box or video recorder tried another tv it works so not faulty box or video anyone help

Also, failure of the 'Painter' IC, IC7064, a surface mouted processor on the small signals board, is fairly common cause of AV switching problems. This normally causes sudden and erratic switching between RF and EXT inputs but can be cause of no signal on EXT inputs.
If that is the cause, it can be expensive to replace & require specialist reflow equipment and reprogramming.

It helps if you say a bit more than 'seem not to be working'. As it stands you question isn't really answerable. Try a new post with a LOT more information as to the fault(s).
