How can I fix my Triton Aquatronic 4 Shower?

Hi there, really hope you can help!

I have the above shower which is only 3 years old.

Recently the low pressure light is showing constantly. It seems whatever is happening is causing the shower to turn off during use. It will occasinally turn back on again after a while (but most inconvenient, as you can imagine). Whilst it's working it is also constantly dripping cold water from somewhere near where the hose is attached to the main box.

When it comes back on the water will go from either VERY hot to VERY cold. Very recently, it is just refusing to turn on altogether.

Would much appreciate any help you can give me!

Thanks,
Lisa

This is a problem I had with my Triton shower. It was caused by a faulty flow detector. I got a replacement from Triton and that one failed within a year too.
The flow detector switches off power when it thinks that the water supply has been interrupted. When it goes faulty the symptoms described result.
Maybe this is a common problem with triton showers.

If its the same a purchased from wickes

I would suggest you stop anyone using it as the water
is probably coming out of item 4 on the diagram. -

it then runs over the electric connections on the
water cut off valve which could be rather shocking
and deadly.

It needs checking by someone who knows what they
are doing or a qualified electrician.
