Powder draw in the Indesit Omega 1100?

I've been trying to take out the powder draw in my Indesit Omega 1100 washing machine in order to clean it, but it won't budge. Should I be able to take it out?

I agree with previous posting - just pulling should do the trick. It might be a bit trickly if all limescaled. Be firm but don't force it!
