You can buy sat finders really cheaply (under ten quid). You plug them into the LNB on the dish and the other into the cable. Then slowly move the dish listening to a whistling noise. I've used them loads of times and they work well. You need a little patience though.
BTW. You're lucky I spotted this questio. Its in the Standard TV section. I'd put sat questions in the sat Receiver box if I was you.
