My mother's Gainsborough Monarch 607 shower is leaking. I've opened the front panel and can see the water coming thorugh strongly from the small rubber pipe on the right hand side of the main outlet metal pipe (whilst water is still coming through the main outlet pipe). I'd appreciate any advice on what might have gone wrong and how to go about fixing it.

your prv has activated (pressure relief valve)
you need to fit a new one but must find why it activated first
common cause
twisted shower hose or blocked shower head.
