wrap some PTFE tape tight round the o-ring to make it oversize then stick the end of the PTFE tape down with some form of glue , maybe a drop of silicone sealant or super glue.

Mine was OK for a couple of years, then it started to drip.
I have stuggled with this dripping shower for a long time. I replaced the theromostat and that seemed to fix it for a short while. Then I changed it again, at a big cost, and that made no difference.
The problem (I think) is a design flaw related to the O ring at the back of the housing when the back of the thermostat fits into. If the O ring is not big enough, it just won't hold the water.

But I haven't found the right O ring to put in place. All the ones delivered by Gainsboro with the thermostat give the same dripping result. Some silicone grease worked for a little while.

I suggest you get a new shower, like I'm going to do. It's a bad design.

If anyone's got any better ideas, I'd like to hear.
