My homepage has suddenly changed from google to activesearch.com. I have tried to rectify this by clicking on tools - internet options - general tab to type in google homepage but unfortunalely the address panel will not hilight and does not allow me to type in new address. Anyone got any advice
if this doesn't work try downloading spybot by patrick kolla , scanning for spyware, then if it doesn't go, go to tools, browser pages and changing it to another page

If you go START>CONTROL PANEL>ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. It should appear in the list, click on it to remove and this should be the answer to your problems. After you have removed it, it is best to restart your PC and then got to INTERNET OPTIONS and replace your homepage address there.
