The oil light on Rover 25 1.4 2003 model keeps flickering on and off. Has been in garage and had switches changed and new oil pump but it is still flickering. Any ideas?

You've obviously spent a lot of money trying to sort this problem. There are two possibilities:
a. The engine has intermittent low oil pressure. Potentially very serious and expensive. An oil pressure check will confirm.
b. An intermittent electrical fault between the oil pressure switch and the dashboard. Less serious but can be much harder to diagnose.
