acer laptop power connection went on rear of laptop relaced it light comes on but laptop will not power up

do you man the power input or the adapter

acers have this problem, my travelmate is the same ,

replace the power jack input profesionally as you can knacker the motherboard doing it yourself,

try removing the battery , replacing it , then powering up ,

or try wiggling the jack to see if the charge light comes on
