hi . does anyone know how i can disconnect the immoboliser in a 96 rover 214{new shape}. i cant get the car started as the remote s wont work. i have tryed new batterys and it still wont turn off. please help me..

worth checking fuses they have a tendancy to break the tailgate harness wiring (black tube on o/s of tailgate pull this back and check wiring ) and then blow the fuse. the remotes can be reset by removing the batteries and pressing both buttons together
