My Dyson dc07 is overheating?

I am stumped, I don't know what else to try! I was experiencing loss of suction and overheating (to the point where the motor cuts out). I seeked advice froma so called expert who advised to clear the cylones with a vacuum which I did and appeared to sort the loss of suction but the motor still overheats and cuts out, any Ideas ?

Regards

Place it in the dustbin and purchase a new Hoover machine- my dyson sucks!

It sounds like the motor is defective it can't be fixed, it possibly needs to be replaced. If you contact Dysons customer service department they can issue a return authorization to pick up your machine.
they should be able to send you another unit.

Just insist that you want another DC07.
