My 2.5 year old Maytag, same model # SAV2655AWW also leaks. We called the repair man. He was quite familiar with the problem and said it is happening with all these machines. He said the transmission is shot, and wants to charge $350 including having it machined in his shop to accommodate the new transmission and seal. That's not right. He recommends complaining to the manufacturer.
