How do I change the bag on my hoover dimension 1000 vacuum? I cannot get it to open, it was a hand-me down.

there isn't any blue part. only tan & black, model #S3633.

I understand your frustration.

lay the vacuum down and only pull up on the BLUE part of the handle, the black part is molded to the base and does not move.
