How can i install a new operating system on my Laptop?

How can i install windows XP on my IBM thinkpad 600x laptop that already has Windows 2000 installed on it?

First of all check that your Laptop has at least 512MB RAM or it will run slow. Go to www.lenovo.com (They own IBM's PC assets now.) and check if you need any speciual drivers for XP on a ThinkPad 600. If so, download the XP drivers for ThinkPad 600. (If there aren't any then I would recommend that you stay with W2K.) Next buy an XP Upgrade. Run the Upgrade software then install the IBM XP drivers.
