Maytag DE512 makes loud rumbling noise?

My Maytag DE512 makes a loud rumbling noise when running. Is this a sign of a shot bearing??

Maytag's have two support wheels inside at the back which support rotating drum,these often become noisey and the drum needs taking out to repair but worth it on this m/c.
Sometimes the air circulation fan can become loose which again is inside the cabinet.
