video recording from a freeview television?

When I video from a channel, other than 1-5, it works perfectly but when I go to bed and turn the power off it stops videoing and just gives me a blue blank screen. Can you help?

No one can help. If you turn it off it will stop working. If you want to record off it you need to leave it switched on - simple as that
