how to fit a drive belt ????????? its a hotpoint vtd00p tumble
dryer. is there a way to adjust the motor ? the new belt is ever so slightly smaller than the old one. just cant seam to get it on.
just fitted a new belt to my hotpoint dryer VTD00P.
Drun goes round , but seems slow, and when i put clothes in it , its as if theres not enough power to turn the drum and it stops.
HELP ANYONE?

The belts supplied need to be stretched round the drum and then over the drive spindle. It requires some effort but it will stretch. I used a length of pipe to stretch it and used the spindle as a wedge.
