I need to figure out how to fix a break shaft, on a 1991 Chevy Caprice. I just bought the car from a guy and the car makes a ticking sound when I turn slow, and he said that the break shaft needs to be tightened.

I was with GM for 25 years and never hearrd of a breakshaft
Most of the time when you hear clicking when turning its the CV joint that has gone bad ......when turning you can figure out which side it is and usually its cheaper just to replace the whole axle shaft ....
