Hi, I'm not an engineer etc but a quick web search revealed a few sites about how to find (and sometimes fix) such parts/problems.
The thermostats & heating elements can be found by unscrewing the panel at the rear of the machine.(I have the same model as you) These sites are quite handy for tips etc. Hope it helps:
