How do I remove the sidelight bulb on my 1994 Renault Clio Prima?

I have a 1994 1.2 Renault Clio Prima. The headlight bulb is fairly easy to remove and replace but the sidelight bulb is proving difficult. The only way I can see to get to it is through the back. I tried to twist and pull the back off but only the power supply for the bulb will come off. So I can only think that I'd have to work my fingers round to the front of the bulb and remove it that way. Easier said than done as i can't see what i'm doing especially when it comes to puttin the bulb back in. So the long winded question in short would be ... How do I remove the sidelight bulb step by step?

First remove the wiring connector.
Then spray some WD40 across the back of the plastic housing & then twist anticlockwise a quarter turn.
It then pulls out.
