Misfiring on startup yesterday. Diagnosis light flashed then stayed on.
Today starts and runs normally but light stays on.
How do I reset the diagnosis light if the fault was intermittent and now is cleared?

There is a common problem with 1.4 mpi plug leads causing a misfire which brings the engine management light on once the leads have been replaced(advise that you replace plugs at same time) the light should go out on its own if not leave your battery disconnected for 48 hrs and that should do it. if you dont attend to this fault it can lead to inlet valves burning out and even engine damage as i recently replaced an engine due to an un attended misfire on a seat ibiza
