vauxhall corsa battery broken or alternater?

my corsa won't start because the battery keeps going flat. even after i keep charching it. is it the battery on something else?

HI Joe.

The easy way to check what it might be is to measure the voltage of the battery using a multi meter the reading should be 12.8v then start the car to check if the alternature is charging the charging voltage should be 14.4v or higher if this is no lower than 13.8v then it's charging and your battery is not holding the charge.
