i have a aqualisa varispray fixed head mk1 shower head.please can you advise how to remove rose for descaling.

Most Shower Heads are screw types. I'm from Australia and not sure of the fittings you are using.

Here in OZ we don't remove the shower head, but, we fill a container with descaling solution and tie it to the shower head and leave it soak. After the recommended time just run the shower for as new results.
