could you please tell me the correct tappet settings for my 1997 'R' citroen saxo vtr 1.6 16v.... and will adjusting them help to reduce the emissions at all? Thankyou
if emmisions are high it could also be the valve stem seals.

16V VTS dont have adjustable tappets. theyre hydraulic thus none adjustable, should not affect emmisions though? lambda / oxygen sensors may be gone? air filter maybe blocked? def not tappets.
