Replace a bent crankshaft on a 6.5 HP Briggs Stratton INTEK?
I have a John Deere JS63 mower with a bent crankshat. Was not willling to mortgage the house to pay for their service. Purchased the crankshaft and now I need instructions (tips) on replacement. Ihave what looks like a pan gasket and two seals also, everything the shop person said I would need - except knowledge to replace.
It is a 6.5 HP INTEK Briggs and Stratton engine - located i nNorthern Virginia any help except saying junk the thing is appreciated.
