My DVD player/recorder has just decided it will not play all the DVDs I put into it, or it plays one side of two-sided DVDs. It's around 4 years old - who can fix it????

i had the same problem. sony know about this problem with this model and tried to fob me off. mine was 13 months old when this happened. it will need a complete new optical lens assembley. this was done by a shop which i had to pay £150 for, then was reimbursted by sony 2 months later. being 4 years old they might not repair it free
