my dishwasher pump ran all night and runs continuously when I switch on the machine.Is there a level sensor to tell the timer to move on when the tank is empty?
I have a Fisher and Paykel dishwasher which did the same thing. On reading this I tipped it over, lots of water came out, and now it works as good as new!

Panic over.There is a tray beneath the washer which catches any leaks.There is a float-switch in the tray which runs the pump continuously to empty the machine if a leak is detected.The pump cannot empty the tray.
