How can I fix my Maytag washer?

As the washer is filling, water is leaking out of the bottom? It started out as a small amount, but continues to grow. It is the 2 speed Performa model. It has regular, permanent press and gentle cycles.

The best thing to do is to open up the washer as and see where it's leaking from. Then you'll have a better idear what to do.
