hello my storage heater has been quite hot recently even when turned right down. Unfortunately now it is not working at all does any one have any ideas on what has happened and how to fix it?

I have always had central heating and now where i live I have night storage heaters. Do I have to maintain these so that they run economically if I do how do I find a Dimplex Engineer

Funilty enough, mine is oding exactly that, so hot that the output boost knob came off melted!!
I think its the thermostat but I will get an electrician in to repair it , not worth risking a repair yourself
