How can I fix the Left Shoulder button on my DS Lite?

I've only had my DS Lite for about 7 months and about 3 months ago my Left Shoulder button because quite finicky and wouldn't always fire when I hit it. The button itself not sticky at all and I'm sure I haven't dropped it or spilled anything on it.

Anyone have a similar problem and have a solution that doesn't require me to send it to Nintendo for service? (Thus making me DS-less for longer than I'd like, haha)

It's probably just a bit of dust on the contact. Form a seal with your lips around the shoulder button and blow hard, seems to work for most people.
