how I can fix my cannon pembroke oven?

The flame on my oven will ignite but not fire up. It is taking 45 minutes to reach the correct temperature. Any ideas!

Do the hob and grill work ok? My Pembroke has problems as the valve that shuts off the gas when the lid goes down lets a lot, a little or no gas through. I think there is a design and/or manufacturing fault.
